Q&A apps for Confluence Cloud compared

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Four apps that add questions and answers to Confluence Cloud, side by side: price, installs, ratings, whether they run on Connect or Forge, what they do, what their reviews say, and what each one does not do.

We make one of these apps: Quicksloth Q&A for Confluence, which is not on the Atlassian Marketplace yet. Everything on this page about the other three apps comes from their public Marketplace listings, pricing and reviews, read on 13 October 2026, and each one is linked. If something is wrong or out of date, write to support@quicksloth.dev and we will fix it.

The short version

Price, installs, ratings and platform

Prices are for a new annual cloud license in US dollars, as the Marketplace lists them. Installs are the number shown on each Marketplace listing.

Average ratings are out of 5, as the Marketplace shows them. Reviews written before 25 May 2026 (today, all the reviews of these three apps) were rated out of 4 stars, and the Marketplace converts them into the average out of 5. Our prices are the ones we plan to list; the Marketplace listing will be the reference once it is live.

What each app says it does

For the other three apps, each cell repeats what the app's own Marketplace listing says, in short. "Not in the listing" means the listing does not mention it: the app may still do it, so check with its maker. For our app, it is what we have built and tested.

The 31 January 2027 Connect date

Atlassian ends support for its Connect platform on 31 January 2027 (Atlassian blog, 3 August 2026). After that date Atlassian "will only address critical security patches", and expects breakages that can make apps stop working without notice; it does not say every Connect app stops on that day.

Of the four apps, only Questions & Answers by EliteSoft runs on Connect in the cloud, according to the Marketplace data for its latest cloud version. We do not know EliteSoft's plans: if they move the app to Forge, its users may not need to move. If you use it, our page Moving from Questions & Answers (EliteSoft) explains your options, including staying.

What Quicksloth Q&A does not do

Read this before you choose us:

If those matter to you, Smart Questions and Answers is probably the better fit today. If you want a simple Q&A that searches the answers too, keeps your data inside Atlassian, costs less than Atlassian's own app and is free for small teams, read what our app does and its documentation.
