The five size chart apps with the most reviews in the Shopify App Store's Product comparison category, side by side: free plan, prices, ratings, how each one reaches your storefront (which matters for Shopify's 1 March 2027 script tag date), and what their recent reviews say.
We are building a size chart app: Quicksloth Size Chart, which is not on the Shopify App Store yet. Everything on this page about the other five apps comes from their public App Store listings, review pages and help pages, and from the public home pages of stores that use them, all read on 17 October 2026, and each source is linked. If something is wrong or out of date, write to support@quicksloth.dev and we will fix it.
The short version
- Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender has by far the most reviews (1,243) and a size recommender. Its Plus and Ultimate plans add charges based on order volume, and most of its recent one-star reviews are about billing.
- MP Size Chart & Size Guide (Shopplaza) has a 5.0 rating on 873 reviews, a free plan with unit conversion and AI size recommendations, and in our check it reached stores through an app embed.
- Smart Size Chart & Size Guide (SmartSize) has a free plan without a watermark, limited to 2 charts, and its listing asks for theme access only, not script tags.
- ESC Size Charts (Eastside Co) is the oldest, and its only paid plan ($4.99 a month) is the cheapest way to unlimited charts. Its recent reviews say it stopped working and support does not answer, and in our check it loaded through script tags.
- BF Size Chart & Size Guide (Relentless Apps) has the cheapest paid plan ($2.99 a month) and a free plan with 3 charts and no watermark. In our check it loaded through script tags.

Script tags or app embeds
On 1 March 2027 Shopify will stop running script tags on storefronts (Shopify changelog, 24 August 2026). A size chart that reaches your product page through a script tag can disappear on that day unless the app moves to a theme app extension (an app embed or an app block). For each app we looked at three things: the permissions its listing asks for, what its own pages say, and the public home pages of stores that reviewed it, using the method on our page which of your apps still use script tags.

How to read this. A permission is not proof of use. Seeing an app embed in one store is enough to say an app has one. Not seeing one is weaker: an app block that has no files of its own does not show up in a store's page source, so Kiwi and ESC, which both mention app blocks, may still show charts without their script tags. What we can say is that, on 17 October 2026, in the stores we checked where Kiwi, ESC or BF was present, the app loaded through a script tag, and none of those stores loaded a theme extension file from those three apps. What the reviews say

Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender
- Charges based on the whole store's order volume after moving to a higher plan, "even for orders that never use their size charts" (15 October 2026, 1 star); a year's subscription charged after cancelling (28 September 2026, 1 star); a plan that went from $6.99 with 100 charts to $7.99 with 10 (22 August 2026, 1 star).
- The developer replied to 9 of the 10 latest one-star reviews, often the same day. A recent five-star review: "getting in touch with support was quick an [sic] easy" (14 October 2026).

MP Size Chart & Size Guide
- Only 3 of its 873 reviews are below three stars. The latest (2 stars, edited 5 May 2025) says "Hana's customer support was awesome", but scrolling breaks the section, the preview does not work and the size guide sometimes "randomly unpublished".
- Its recent reviews (September and October 2026) are five stars and mostly praise its support.

Smart Size Chart & Size Guide
- One review below four stars: "Expensive and hard to Setup." (26 March 2026, 1 star); the developer replied that it offers hands-on onboarding through its chat.
- Recent five-star reviews (12 and 13 October 2026) say it is easy to set up and praise help with the setup.

ESC Size Charts
- Six one-star reviews between 29 June and 7 October 2026 say support does not answer; five of them also say the app stopped working or its admin would not open ("They don't answer emails, quick chats or phone calls", 2 October 2026). None shows a reply from the developer.
- Its latest five-star reviews are from April 2025: "Simple, works well, looks good. Support is fast and gets it done when you need it." (28 April 2025).

BF Size Chart & Size Guide
- Easy to fill in, but on products with more than one variant the app hid the express checkout buttons such as Shop Pay or Google Pay (2 stars, edited 17 March 2026); the developer replied that the app can work alongside those buttons. No way to search or sort the charts (24 June 2026, 3 stars); the developer replied the next day that it had since added a search by title.
- A recent five-star review: "Absolutely outstanding support." (25 June 2026).

Quicksloth Size Chart
Coming soon. Quicksloth Size Chart is in development and is not on the Shopify App Store yet: no prices, no installs and no reviews to compare.
These are design choices, not features you can try yet:
- No script tags. The chart is designed to reach your storefront only through a theme app extension.
- Export of all your charts to a CSV file is planned for every plan, the free one included.
- No size recommender and no AI. If you want a recommender, Kiwi, MP and Smart Size Chart have one.
Prices, plans and the full list of features will be published when the app is live, after we have tested it on a real store. Until then, you can add a chart without any app: our guide for Shopify's free themes.
Sources and method
Listings, plans, ratings, data access and reviews: the public Shopify App Store pages of each app, read on 17 October 2026 (linked above). The five apps are the size chart apps with the most reviews in the App Store category Product comparison on that day. Kiwi's app block: Kiwi help, troubleshooting charts that do not display. MP's app block: Shopplaza docs, select position to show your size chart.
Store check: we took the store names from each app's review pages, opened the public home page of the stores we could find (no login), and looked for the app's script tag in the list Shopify writes into the page and for files from the app's theme extension. Stores that reviewed an app years ago may have removed it since, which is why the counts are lower than the number of stores. Prices, ratings and apps change: check the listing before you install.
