Free size chart templates, with measurements
Last updated: 24 October 2026 · By Quicksloth
11 size charts to start from: women's tops, dresses, women's pants, men's tops, men's jeans, shoes, kids, bras, rings and gloves. Each one has its measurements in centimetres, a line on how to measure, a CSV file to download and the sources of its numbers.
These are starting values: adjust them to your products. They are body measurements from public sizing standards and brand size guides, not the measurements of any garment. Every brand has its own fit, so check them against your own products or your supplier's chart before you publish.
How to add a template to your store
You do not need an app. Shopify's free themes Dawn and Horizon can show a chart from a page; our size chart guide has every step, with the names of the blocks copied from the themes' code.
- In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Pages and click Add page. Give it a title such as "Size chart: women's tops".
- Put the table in the page. Either open the template's "HTML to paste in a Shopify page" box below, copy the code, click the Show HTML button of the content box and paste it there (Shopify's help names this button "Show HTML" and also "Edit code", with a code icon); or click Insert table and type the values from the CSV. Then change the numbers to your own and click Save.
- Show the page on your product pages. In Dawn, add a Pop-up or Collapsible row block to the Product information section and choose your page in its page setting. In Horizon, add a Popup link or an Accordion and put a Page block inside it. Details, and how to show a different chart for each product type, are in Step 2 of our guide.
Shopify's help warns that "If you use HTML in your rich text editor, then it might cause display errors on your storefront" (Using the rich text editor for content, read on 24 October 2026). The code below is a plain table with a few lines of text, without styles or scripts, so your theme decides how it looks. Preview the page after saving.
On a phone, wide tables are hard to read. Our suggestion (not a Shopify rule): keep about five columns, and remove the columns your shoppers do not need, for example the UK or EU sizes if you sell only in the US.
The templates
Measurements are in centimetres. Ranges such as "74-82" mean from 74 to 82 cm. A dash (—) means the source gives no value for that size.

Where the numbers come from (read on 11 October 2026): Bust: the letter codes of the European standard EN 13402-3, from the public summary of EN 13402 on Wikipedia. Waist and hips: worked out from the same summary's table of body measurements (two bust steps per letter). US, UK and EU numbers: the women's tops size guide of a major sportswear brand (UK site), which gives body measurements. Its own centimetres agree up to M and are narrower above (up to about 8 cm at XXL).

Where the numbers come from (read on 11 October 2026): The same numbers as the women's tops chart: the summary of EN 13402-3 calls its women's table "dress sizes", and a large fashion retailer's guide says chest, waist and hips are the same for tops and dresses. Dress length depends on the style, so add yours in the text if shoppers ask.

Where the numbers come from (read on 11 October 2026): One large fashion retailer's children's guide, on one of its Asian sites because the European ones did not open for us; boys' columns from age 7-8 (body measurements; EU children's sizes are the height in cm). Up to age 6-7 girls and boys share one table; the guide gives no waist under 18 months. We found only one open source for children's sizes: check against your supplier.

Where the numbers come from (read on 11 October 2026): EN ISO 21420 sizes, from a workwear glove maker's public summary of the standard (the standard itself is paid). The size number is the hand circumference in inches. We did not check the guides of fashion glove brands, which may use another scale. The how-to-measure lines are the usual practice of glove shops, not part of the standard's summary we read.
About the CSV files
Each CSV has one chart: a line with the column headings (Row = header) and one line per size, with the chart's name, unit and "how to measure" text repeated on every line. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. The layout is the one we are building into the CSV import of Quicksloth Size Chart, our size chart app for Shopify, so the same files are meant to work there.
Quicksloth Size Chart is coming soon: it is not available yet, and the free way above works without it. This page will link to the Shopify App Store listing when the app is live.
Questions and answers
- Are these size charts official?
- No. Some numbers come from public summaries of European and international standards (EN 13402, ISO 8653, EN ISO 21420), others from the public size guides of large brands, and some are worked out from those. Each template says which. The official texts of the standards are paid, and the women's and men's numbers come from a public summary that cites an earlier edition of EN 13402-3 (2004); the standard has been revised since.
- Why don't you name the brands?
- We do not want the templates to be read as a brand's official chart: every brand's chart fits its own clothes. We say what kind of source each number comes from instead.
- Body measurements or garment measurements?
- Body measurements: the shopper measures themselves and compares. If you prefer to give garment measurements (the flat width of a T-shirt, for example), measure your products and replace the numbers.
- Can I show inches as well?
- Yes. Add columns in inches (centimetres divided by 2.54) or make a second table in inches. On a phone, two short tables read better than one wide table.
- Can I use these templates for free, in any store?
- Yes. Copy them, change them and use them in your store. We cannot promise they fit your products: that is why they are starting values.
